Community Fireworks Show

The Village of Howard hosts a family friendly Community Fireworks Show each year on the Friday before the Fourth of July. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Village of Howard Community Fireworks Show has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept. 6. Family friendly fun -- including live music, a food truck rally, and children's activities -- will run from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Village Center, and a professional fireworks display will be launched from Meadowbrook Park at 8:30 p.m.

Join us in the Village Center starting at 4 p.m. for live classic and contemporary rock music from The Presidents and a food truck rally hosted by Green Bay Food Trucks. The Village of Howard Fire Department Auxiliary will be selling cold beer with all proceeds benefiting our firefighters. Daryl Rogers Magic will perform free strolling magic shows. Face Painting by Lori ($) will be painting wrists, arms, and legs, and Joyful Henna Designs will offer henna body art ($).

Please note: There are no vendors, entertainment or activities at Meadowbrook Park. All festivities will be held in the Village Center. The fireworks are clearly visible from the Village Center and all surrounding areas, so bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for the show!

The Village of Howard recognizes the challenges of hosting this event during the COVID-19 pandemic and is dedicated to the safety of our guests, entertainers, and vendors. Accordingly, the 2020 Howard Community Fireworks Show will look and operate substantially differently than previous years. We strongly encourage everyone to bring their own chairs and practice social distancing with their seating. Masks are encouraged when social distancing isn't possible while waiting in food and beverage lines and participating in activities.
